What is the Purpose of Housing Discretionary?
Housing Discretionary is use to provide housing assitance to eligible chapter members in a form of minor or major repairs, renovation, bathroom addition, plumbing, electrical wiring to existing homes, construction of a new home or hogan, and other pre-construction costs associated in acquiring homesite or residential lease such as archaelogical, environmental, or land survey cost.
How do I know that I am eligible for Housing Discretionary?
- You are a “registered voter” of the Tsayatoh Chapter
- Have a Census Number/Voter’s Registration Card and Social Card
- Able to prove home ownership to provide copy of executed Home Site and/or Residential Lease
- Able to prove he or she is the permanent and the primary occupant of the house to be repaired
- In need of house renovation, repairs, or improvements
When will I know that housing discretionary will available?
The first phase of applications will open March 1st and closes March 31st. The second phase of applications will open on June 1st and close June 30th. These deadlines will be adhered to and NO LATE PACKETS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
